Our group almost completed the assembly of the aircraft this time. At first, we removed the jig from the ribs. We had a hard time doing so because the jig stuck on ribs with glue. Then, we attached the motor and the aileron servo to the aircraft. It looked more like the aircraft than before doing that. We were concerned about the torsional rigidity of the wing before production, but it became rigid enough by gluing the spars to ribs. The aircraft weighs 130g before installing the motor and so on. Finally, we attached the gears to the aircraft while paying attention to the ground clearance of the propeller and the position of the center of gravity. Next week, we are going to create the mechanism for transmitting force from the servo to the aileron with a piano wire, attach the skin to it, and fix the winglet, the battery, etc. That is to say, we will complete the production. 今回は, 機体の組立を完成させました. まず, 治具を取り外しました. この時, リブと治具をうまく切り離すことに苦労しました. そして, モーターを機体に取り付けました. また, エルロンサーボもリブに直接接着させました. この時点で随分と航空機らしい見た目となりました. 製作前に気にかけていた主翼のねじれ剛性も, 桁とリブを接着剤で固定することで十分な剛性が得られました. バッテリーなどを搭載する前に重量を図ったところ, 重量は130g程度でした. 最後に, プロペラの地面とのクリアランスや機体重心位置を気にかけながら, 機体にギアを取り付けました. 次週は, サーボからエルロンに力を伝達するための機構をピアノ線で製作し, 外板を貼りつけ, ウイングレットやバッテリー等を固定させ, 製作を完了させる予定です.
