2019 Spring Semester Flying Robot Project Team B Article 1April 24, 2019

　Hello, we are team B for the summer semester 2019. We have six team members, one junior (major in Aerospace Engineering), two sophomores, and three freshmens, and it is the first time for all of us to join this “Flying Robot Project”. Therefore, we don’t know how to proceed with the project and struggling with references always beside us.
　Our subject this week was to make the blueprint of our plane. We had already decided to make the bi-plane with good maneuverability, so this time, we discussed how big the wings will be, what the shape of the wings will be like, how big the plane will be… and so on. We are so exited to think that our image of the plane in our minds will turn into a reality soon. We will start making the bi-plane next week. 　初めまして、2019年度SセメスターのB班です。この班は、航空宇宙工学専攻の３年が１人、２年が２人、１年が３人の計６人で、全員が飛行ロボットプロジェクトに初参加です。従って、皆何をどう進めていけばいいのかわからず、講義時の資料とにらめっこしながらどうにか頑張っています。
　さて、今回の課題は製作する飛行ロボットの構造三面図を作ることでした。前回までに、操縦性を重視した複葉機を作ろうということは決まっていたので、具体的に翼面積をどうするか、翼の形状や断面をどうするか、全体のサイズをどうするかなど、想像を膨らませながら決めていきました。これから、頭の中に想像しているものが形になっていくことを考えると、非常に楽しみです。次回は、実際の制作に取り掛かっていきます。
