[Activity of last week]
We did following things in last week.

Bond stringers.
Check assembly of the main wing mounts.
Adjust the joints of the leading and trailing edge members.

In order to produce a more accurate curved surface near the leading edge of the wing,
we attached the stringer to the position of 10 % from the leading edge.
We used 1.5 mm balsa square bars for stringers.
We put the balsa materials in the notches which we put in prescribed positions of the ribs
beforehand and bonded with instant adhesive (fig. 1).
The main wing mount and trailing edge mount outputted by the 3D printer arrived (fig. 2),
so we checked the assembly. When assembled, it seems that there is no problem
because the position of the holes through which the pins passes are accurately matched.
As this wing mount gives a mounting angle (3 degrees), I would like to confirm
whether the mounting angle is correct as the main wing is fixed to the main pipe after adjusting the details.
We also output the joints for bonding the ribs with the leading and trailing edges
made of thin strips of bamboo with the 3D printer. Since the diameter of the bamboo sticks was 2.0 mm,
the inner diameter of the joints was also ordered with 2.0 mm.
However, since the bamboo sticks did not enter the junctions actually arrived, we extended the inside diameter
of the junction to 2.5 mm using a pin vise (fig. 3).

[Target for this week]
We will do following things in this week.

Bond the leading and trailing edge members.
Perform the flaps operation test (2nd).
Continue making the tails.

[先週の活動]
先週は以下のことを行った.

-ストリンガーの接着
-主翼マウントの接合確認
-前縁および後縁部材の接合部調整

 主翼の前縁付近でより正確な曲面を出すために,ストリンガーを前縁から10 %の位置に取り付けた.
ストリンガーには1.5 mmのバルサ角棒を使用した.バルサ材を予めリブの所定の位置に入れておいた切り欠きにはめ、
瞬間接着剤で接着した(図1).
 3Dプリンタで出力した主翼マウントと後縁マウントが到着した(図2)ので,組み立てを確認した.
組み立てると,ピンを通す穴の位置が正確に一致するので問題はないと思われる.
この主翼マウントは取付角度が3度になる設計なので,細部を調整してから主翼をメインパイプに固定し,
取り付け角度が正しいかどうかを確認したいと思う.
 また,竹ひごで作る前縁と後縁をリブと結合するための結合部も3Dプリンタで出力した.
竹ひごの直径は2.0 mmであったので接合部の内径も2.0 mmで注文した.
しかし,実際に到達した接合部に竹ひごが入らなかったため,ピンバイスを使用して接合部の内径を2.5 mmに拡張した(図3).

[今週の目標]
今週は以下のことを行う予定である.

前縁,後縁材を接着する.
フラップの動作試験(第二回)をする.
尾翼の製作を続ける.
