2016 summer semester Flying Robot Project 10th Team DJune 15, 2016

This week we made progress especially in making the main wing. We had prepared the front and rear flame of it and we almost completed the whole wing flame. We had planned to cut off the rear parts of some ribs so as to eliminate the total weight, but along with an advice that it might be better to glue each rib and each rear flame to ensure the rigidity of the wing, we redesigned the ribs and put them together. We also archived on cutting the adequate wing-fuselage mount. In addition, as our plane has longer fuselage than the rods supplied as materials, we extended a rod by connecting to another.
Through the work in this week, we cooperated mostly in making the main wing, which required many hands. It was also an achievement that we could acquire how to put together a three-dimensional structure as precisely as possible and gain knowledge of the use of the stronger adhesive through connecting carbon rods.
However, we could not finish the whole wing and, through the work, often rely on TAs too much. Moreover, we could not spend much time discussing how to make better the structure.
