2017 summer semester Flying Robot Project 1st Team EMay 17, 2017

Our concept is a tail-sitter aircraft (vertical takeoff and landing aircraft or VTOL aircraft) with four motors attached at the nose.
It is a hybrid between an airplane and a quadcopter.

Below is our progress for this week, and plans for next week.

Progress this week
1) Finished the first draft of the blueprint and structural layout of the aircraft.
2) Placed an order for electrical systems such as motors and propellers.

Plans for next week
1) Creating airfoils from Balsa wood using laser cutters and mounts for the motors using 3D printer.
2) Printing out a 1:1 scaled copy of the blueprint and laying out all of the materials before assembly.

機体のコンセプトは,機首の4発のモーターで垂直離陸および垂直着陸を行うテールシッター型VTOL機です.
この機体は,固定翼機とマルチコプターのハイブリッドをイメージしました.
今週の成果と来週までの予定です.

今週の成果
1) 今週は機体の初期検討と構造設計を行いました.
2) モーターやプロペラ類の発注も行いました.

来週までの予定
1) バルサの加工と3Dプリンターでの印刷を始める
2) 1:1の図面を印刷し,部品を図面通りに並べる.(組み立て前の最終確認)
