This week we completed the detailed design of the structure.
The original plan was to place the ribs parallel to the axis of the aircraft, but this design caused concerns about ease of assembly and accuracy because the ribs intersected the spar at an angle. So we decided to make the ribs perpendicular to the spar, which has a sweepback angle. We decided to cut out the ribs with the jigs in one piece and remove the jigs after assembly.
We also created a new design to cut out the motor mount at the same time as the ribs.
