In this week, we finished an estimation of the center of gravity of the aircraft and making wheels and the mount between body and main wings. For the cause of a failure of laser cutting, the mount is the strength poverty around holes in the mount. We modified the design and succeeded in laser cutting.

Now, we are making the mount of electrical components and a tail unit. First, we are taught about each electrical component from TAs. Next, we determined the position of these components, considering the estimation of the center of gravity. We hurried designing and making the enough strong mount as light as possible.

Future tasks is mounting each components and reinforcement of torsional rigidity of main wings. The problem about main wings is caused by no diagonal members in the main wings. In order to solve this problem, we diagonally thread light strings in the wing. Toward flight test next week, we must immediately finish these tasks.

先週の課題であった、翼胴結合部の切り出し失敗は、部材中の孔周りの強度不足が原因であった。設計を修正したところ、問題なくレーザーカッターで切り出すことができた。

現在は、電装系や尾翼の結合部の作成を行っている。まずTAから各電装系について説明を受けた。その後、重心位置推算に従って、電装系を胴体に配置する位置を決定した。できるだけ軽重量で、十分な強度を確保したマウントの設計・作成を急いでいる。

今後の課題として、各部材の装着と、主翼の捩り剛性の補強が挙げられる。斜め部材を主翼に入れていないことが原因と考えられる。軽量の糸を主翼に通すことで、この問題を解決する予定である。来週の試験飛行に向けて、これらの課題を早急に終えなければならない。
