Aeronautics Innovation Course was held from 4th to 6 August 2014August 04, 2014

The Aeronautics Innovation Course was a summer intensive course opened for the third grade of the undergraduate for the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department and was supported by JAXA and Boeing. The speakers from the University, JAXA and heavy industries, talked about the different phase of research and development of the three domain from their perspective.

http://www.aero.jaxa.jp/publication/magazine/ 夏学期、航空工学専攻学部3年生を対象に開講する宇宙航空研究開発機構（JAXA）およびボーイイング社との連携の航空技術イノベーションの授業では、航空工学の各分野（空気力学・構造工学・空力弾性学）それぞれについて、大学での基礎研究、研究所での研究、メーカーでの実機開発の状況をそれぞれの専門家から紹介していただき、新しい技術の研究から開発までの一連のプロセスを俯瞰しました。さらに授業の後半では、JAXAの風洞施設を訪問し、風洞実験体験を行いました。
